Jess & Mark – Yorkshire Dales Wedding
ByVerity Sansom August 31, 2016April 6, 2019
Yorkshire Dales Wedding Photography Leeds This year, perhaps more than ever before, we’ve found ourselves travelling away from Yorkshire for work. With trips to Cheshire and London becoming increasingly common it has made us appreciate Yorkshire weddings all the more. After all Yorkshire is where we met, it’s where we got married ourselves and it’s…

Barmbyfield Barn Wedding Photographer York | Yorkshire Wedding Photography Even in just 5 years of being in the wedding industry we have seen a vast change in the ‘norm’ when it comes to weddings. From traditions and running orders to locations, it seems that more couples than ever before are choosing to do something a…

Jadlyn & Moses – Lake District Adventure Shoot
ByVerity Sansom December 15, 2015November 27, 2019
Lake District Wedding Photography Yorkshire | Wedding Photographers York We’ve always loved engagement shoots, there’s just something really special about getting to know couples before their big day. Creatively they always give us a chance to try out some new ideas and find locations that we couldn’t necessarily utilise on a wedding day. After all,…

Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography Cheshire | Manchester Wedding Photographer Until we started out in the industry I don’t think I could ever have imagined the wealth of possible venues this country has to offer. Not to mention the increasingly popular option of using somewhere that’s not a wedding venue, like Bren and Sarah earlier this…

Lake District Wedding Photographers Yorkshire | Wedding Photographer York Just the other day we looked back through our blog at the weddings so far this year. Honestly we can’t quite believe how much fun we’ve had, and we’re only half way! We were talking to a good friend of ours recently about client expectations, how…

ByVerity Sansom June 2, 2015June 29, 2018
Scarborough Beach Wedding Photography | Wedding Photographer Yorkshire Charlotte & Mike’s Scarborough Beach Wedding Photography It always amazes me the amount of choice that’s out there nowadays when it comes to weddings. There’s a seemingly endless choice of suppliers and venues, not to mention the different ways you can structure a day. Mike and Charlotte’s…

Jo & Josh – Bolton Abbey Engagement
ByVerity Sansom May 21, 2015June 29, 2018
Bolton Abbey Engagement Photography Yorkshire There’s a few spots close to us that have seen their fair share of engagement shoots over the years, perhaps none more so than Bolton Abbey. It’s a place particularly close to our hearts for a few reasons, we often take our dog out for a walk by the river…

Nicola & Keith – Hazlewood Castle Engagement
ByVerity Sansom May 18, 2015June 29, 2018
Hazlewood Castle Engagement Photography Yorkshire The “golden hour” is a term well known in the photography world, it describes that elusive time just before the sun is about to set and the sky has an incredible warm glow to it. We rarely get to experience it on shoots due to the unpredictable British weather but…

ByVerity Sansom May 12, 2015June 29, 2018
Crow Hill Wedding Photography Yorkshire If you read back through a few of our old blog posts you might notice a bit of a theme, I guess more than anything it’s one that’s pretty key to what we do. Connecting with our couples and if we’re lucky, their family and friends. I guess it’s hard…

Katie & Nathan – Yorkshire Wedding
ByVerity Sansom April 28, 2015June 29, 2018
Yorkshire Wedding Photography It’s strange how much things seem to change each wedding season. Last summer seems like so long ago and with all of the engagement shoots we’ve been doing over winter it feels fantastic to be able to get to work trying new techniques and angles at some summer weddings. Ok, so I…

Lucy & Richard – St John Wedding London
ByVerity Sansom March 19, 2015August 29, 2018
London Wedding Photographer I’ve got to admit, we’ve never really been the London type. We love it up here in Yorkshire, with its countryside and café stops aplenty. The longer we shoot though, the more regular London weddings seem to become, and I hate to say it, but I think we’re just about starting to…

ByVerity Sansom February 1, 2015July 26, 2018
Ilkley Moor Engagement Photography Yorkshire It seems like Christmas always goes pretty fast for us, with family in Scotland and down in the Midlands, as well as weddings either side, we didn’t really spend too much time just doing nothing. That said the time that we did get we spent thinking about what 2015 could…
